PORCELAIN+IRON+GLASS - large cup

Handmade porcelain coffee cup. Perfect for your daily cup of tea, latte or cappuccino. The use of iron oxide gives the porcelain a pink or reddish colour and speckles. The blue specks are recycled glass. The outside surface is unglazed, resulting in a rough matt texture. The cups are 100% dishwasher safe. No oven or microwave.

This piece ia part of my graduation collection, that I made from 2012 - 2020. This project was a material research into colour and texture of porcelain. As I am no longer making new stock, these are the final items. Last chance to buy!
