Decoration workshop - Delft blue

Learn to decorate ceramics with the traditional technique of Delft blue and create your own modern design! 

In this workshop you will decorate a handmade porcelain plate with real cobalt. You will learn about the history of Delftware and try out different tools and techniques. You can paint a classic pattern or experiment with something more abstract. The magic of the blue-and-white will make sure it turns into something beautiful.

After the workshop we will finish the plate with glaze and fire it in our ceramic kilns. This takes about 1-2 weeks. If you pay for shipping, the items will be sent to you. Otherwhise you can pick them up yourself. Because we work with professional materials, your plate will be completely dishwasher proof.

There is space for a maximum of 10 persons per workshop. Everyone can participate, no experience needed! Allthough a little practice with pencil and brush could be handy! Suitable for children aged 12 and over, due to the toxic chemicals we will be working with.
